The company specializes in designing and building rockets for small satellite launches, and they've already made history. In May 2020, Skyrora conducted the UK's first complete ground rocket test in half a century! The 36-foot Skylark-L rocket, tested at Kildermorie Estate in the Highlands, simulated a launch without actually taking off.
Orbex, on the other hand, has been gearing up for its Prime rocket's maiden voyage later this year from the SaxaVord Spaceport in Shetland. This launch could mark a significant step towards commercial satellite launches.
